About Me

My photo
Style Destino is my personal style space bout cruelty-free and vegetarian style. Fashion is not above someone's life and it is irresponsible when someone makes a fashion choice that involves taking a poor animal's life. I believe in style that has a conscience. We are in 21st century where technology has advanced immensely, there are myriad options available and any person with a desire can make things happen. So it is sheer selfishness and irresponsible behaviour when people make unethical fashion choices. Through StyleDestino I share everything cruelty-free and ethical in my style. I do not use any handbags, shoes or accessories made from leather (animal skin), the make-up I use is also vegetarian and cruelty free. Luxury and compassion can coexist stylishly and Style Destino is an attempt to prove just that. Vegan fashion is not about dowdy clothes, cheap bags, or tawdry shoes. I can just easily be vegan and trot in my Olsen heels, sporting a Stella McCartney luxurious vegan handbag while showing off my red lips painted with OCC lip tar!! I travel the world around and never find dearth of stylish, high quality vegetarian fashion.

Love all things Mango!!!

I am sure more than one of you will agree that Mango is one of the best high street stores to find great stuff and its one of my favourites (especially with the limited options and collections in India). Its very rare that I pop-in Mango and don't end up buy something (even if I was only accompanying a friend and had decided no more shopping as loads of stuff already overflowing in my wardrobe with even their tags intact). Never mind.

Now it displeases me that why do the global brands put dodgy websites for Indian customers, whilst their customers in UK, US ,et al enjoy state-of-the-art websites with display of their latest collection, which they can not only view but also shop online. {Sulk Sulk}.

Well, as much as I love Mango, I had the same grudge with them too. Until now, their website barely ‘existed’ for me, as it served no purpose, except maybe you knew Mango existed in India.

But my friend just told me that they re-did their website and I couldn’t resist myself and plugged in to my computer and loved what I saw. More importantly was glad to know that now they are giving equal importance to their Indian customers. The Indian website of Mango has everything that the global counterparts enjoy and they also have displayed their latest collection and what’s in-store with the prices in Indian rupees.

I am absolutely loving it and am glad that now before I visit the store I can browse through their collection. Now the only grudge is – they should start the online shopping facility too. It would be especially great for my friends who do not have a Mango store in their town and keep asking me to buy and send them stuff.

Well until they don't start online shopping feature, atleast now I don't have to click the picture and send them before I buy something. I can give them the link to browse the collection.

I am loving it!!!
