Ever since I've seen models strutting down the runway of DSquared Fall 2012 collection in cropped denims, I've been waiting to get mine out.
Each day in Mumbai you can be sure that you wouldn't starve because of the dearth of options of vegetarian restaurants. Another reason why I love Bombay!!!
Perched in the old financial district of Mumbai, near the dock area, the two-levelled pure vegetarian Bellagio Bistro cannot be better located. Original Parisian incarnation, 'bistro' means a small restaurant serving moderately priced meals. On one side (diagonally opposite) of the Asiatic Library at Fort you have the Paris fashion behemoth and luxury house Hermès, and on the other there's Bellagio Bistro (never mind that it serves Italian and not Parisian food) - fashion and food connected through Paris (I am quoting it despite the risk of sounding lame).
This cosy eatery comes with an all-vegetarian Italian menu (also does some sandwiches) and a red and black rustic bistro-like ambience - two culinary additions that the paneer-dal-Chinese dominated Fort desperately needed.
It wasn't my first visit to Bellagio, in fact I have been there more than a couple of times (mostly for their eggless desserts) but on my last visit with a friend (a couple of weeks ago), I discovered that they have some inventive and delicious food, if you know what to order (my previous experiences have been lukewarm but the recent one was a game-changer).
Thursdays are live music night at Bellagio Bistro where a chirpy man plays the beats on his guitar and sings (quite well) too - he'll come to you to pick a song of your choice and you'll be pleasantly surprised when he works his tunes.
Just a warning, make sure you order right because some of menu items can be surprisingly disappointing, though you can be generous with the desserts (chocolate mud pie and blueberry cheesecake are yummy).
Looks delicious! And I love your black white outfit
