Are you vegan? Yes your diet is, but what about what's in your beauty closet? Knowingly or unknowingly most vegan and even vegetarian women although follow a vegetarian diet but forget all those ingredients used in their beauty and skincare products that are derived from killing animals or causing them torture. Being a vegan means not only eating vegan food but also using products that are cruelty-free and made without any animal ingredients or derivatives. While many beauty companies smugly call themselves “cruelty-free,” this just means they don't test on animals. But it does not mean all of them are vegetarian and vegan. Most of these companies use ingredients like beeswax and fish enzymes, carmine (red pigment derived from boiling insects), bone char, albumen (derived from egg whites) and other stuff derived from animals. Its shocking and downright cruel! Until a few years ago even I wasn't aware that these companies use so many non-vegan ingredients in the cosme
Crop Top and Sporty Trousers : Zara, Blazer : Marccain, Lepoard pumps : Lipsy, Bag : Stella McCartney Every place, every city and every town has treasures of their own. I was in Indore last month and with some time in hand, decided to get some pictures shot. A friend recommended an early morning visit to Chhatri Bagh for its beautiful architecture. Excitement caught hold of me and I woke up at 6am (yes I did). Didn't know what to wear to visit the Chhatri Bagh so I decided to put together an outfit from my latest shopping picks - the sports-inspired trend that seems to envelope the summer fashion landscape. Marccain jacket , Diesel tee and jeans , Zara shoes We've been languishing in 2014 for over 3 months now (hey its April) and I have been experiencing strong hankering to get off all the to-dos from my list and start a fresh one. And voila, the beginning has been made. This post has been sitting in my drafts since the end of December and I am finally changing its status. So this December {three months back} we headed for a short trip to Igatpuri and it was one of those moments when you're travelling by the countryside and spot a cool location where you'd know you'll get a great shot. This hut was my cool discovery en route from Igatpuri to back to Mumbai when I nearly jumped out of the window to get some pictures. Somehow strutting down the kachha roads in those heels gave me a high. I may sound a bit of a brat here but when it comes to travel choices, the small hill stations and the quieter places fail to pleasure me after a certain number of hour
