About Me

My photo
Style Destino is my personal style space bout cruelty-free and vegetarian style. Fashion is not above someone's life and it is irresponsible when someone makes a fashion choice that involves taking a poor animal's life. I believe in style that has a conscience. We are in 21st century where technology has advanced immensely, there are myriad options available and any person with a desire can make things happen. So it is sheer selfishness and irresponsible behaviour when people make unethical fashion choices. Through StyleDestino I share everything cruelty-free and ethical in my style. I do not use any handbags, shoes or accessories made from leather (animal skin), the make-up I use is also vegetarian and cruelty free. Luxury and compassion can coexist stylishly and Style Destino is an attempt to prove just that. Vegan fashion is not about dowdy clothes, cheap bags, or tawdry shoes. I can just easily be vegan and trot in my Olsen heels, sporting a Stella McCartney luxurious vegan handbag while showing off my red lips painted with OCC lip tar!! I travel the world around and never find dearth of stylish, high quality vegetarian fashion.

Quick and Easy Smoothie Recipe: Smoothie Bombs

Smoothies are the best way to kickstart a great day! But mornings are usually when we are pressed with time and eating healthily takes a long time. So if you are looking for a delicious creamy smoothie for breakfast or post workout then this is exactly what you need - The Smoothie Bombs!

These raw smoothie balls come in two flavors - raw cacao and super greenie and are made from organic ingredients with no added sugar and super healthy ingredients including chia seeds, psyllium husk, black strap molasses. I discovered these recently and have been love with them.

I just throw in a smoothie bomb with banana or avocado almonds and blend it with either freshly pressed orange juice or fresh coconut water and boom it turns into a delicious creamy smoothie. A glassful is nutrition powerhouse and keeps you nourished and satiated until lunch. I am in love with this beautiful drink!

I N G R E D I E N T S
1 Smoothie Ball
Freshly pressed juice of 2 oranges or coconut water
1 banana or 3/4 avocado pitted and cut into chunks
2 strawberries (optional)

Add all ingredients into the blender + purée until smooth. Serve cold!

Serves 1

For Sunday brunches, I also make oatmeal bowl with powdered cinnamon, desiccated coconut and topped with strawberries and bananas, grapefruit and oranges (for my daily dose of vitamin C) and seasonal fruits - persimmons are my current favorite, they're so delicious, sweet with a very nice flavor.
