When it comes to date-night dinners or a romantic lunch, it is important to get the venue right. Whether it is your first date or a special occasion like Valentine's or your anniversary, no matter how cliched it sounds, you need to make an effort to go to a place that will make your loved one feel special.
While there are plenty of carnivorous restaurants in town with an expansive vegan menu, there is nothing quite like eating from a meat-free kitchen, knowing that no innocent animal was tortured inside from where your food came from. Plus, you are doubly sure there are no accidental meat pieces or fish inside your meal or cross-contamination.
Without further ado, here is the list of the most romantic vegan restaurants to dine your partner in Dubai...

You'll feel you have been exported to another world from Dubai, with all the greenery, soulful music, and birds chirping somewhere in the background.

Tum Tum Asia
This quirky pan-Asian vegetarian restaurant serves delicious vegan food that even a carnivore will fall in love with. With colorful graffiti on the wall, upside-down umbrella on the ceiling, and a creative food presentation, this will definitely be a romantic and fun date you won't forget. The charred soya wings and Singapore noodles are a must-have from their menu!
The service is great, and while it's not a fine-dining it definitely is close to it, making it perfect for a date night. if your partner is a foodie, I promise they'd be surprised how good vegan food can be, breaking all stereotypes.
Where? Unit No.4, Shaikha Building - 13th St, Oud Metha, Behind Lamcy Plaza
Best for? Dinner or lunch; Indian food with a molecular and cool twist; Vegetarian but Vegan-Friendly
This vegetarian family restaurant with its colorful plush interiors can be buzzy but it's enjoyable. If you want to impress your date, then this veggie restaurant will definitely do the job with their beautifully presented fancy food and amuse-bouche that won't fail to delight. The food is delicious with several "novelty" items along with "safe" mains among their vegan options clearly marked on the menu. You have to try the nitro bhel - especially for the presentation and the delicious veg tawa. The Vermicelli Kheer (Indian dessert) cooked in almond milk is delicious and while, apart from the kheer, there aren't many vegan dessert options on the menu, their beverages will do the job just quite as well.
You can find a nice spot for a romantic meal if you avoid the peak lunch or dinner time.

Little Erth by Nabz & G (formerly Urth)
Best for: Dinner, healthy inspiring, and delicious food; Not veggie (2 salmon items on the menu)
This cozy cafe gets its romantic vibes on once the sun sets down and twinkling fairy lights glisten. While not entirely a veggie restaurant, Little Erth is almost vegan with its mostly plant-based menu except the one salmon on the menu. However, the owners confirm that they prep the salmon in a separate section avoiding any chance of cross-contamination.

Wild and the Moon
Best for: Breakfast or healthy lunch or dinner; Healthy & Vegan; Cold-pressed juices, pre-made salads, meals and desserts
The newly opened third location of this popular healthy vegan cafe is simplicity at its best. With wooden furniture surrounded by whitewashed walls, this Downtown restaurant is a great spot whether for a first date or ninth. Their Al Quoz flagship cafe is also a lovely spot, that's much larger and two-storied. You can have your own secluded spot on the first floor, beneath the plants.
The healthy drink list is impeccable and experimental, from matcha mylk (must-try) to turmeric latte, everything tastes delicious. Their salads are super delicious and indulgent and the chocolate pudding is almost too good to be true!

This charming quaint cafe isn't a conventional pick for a date-night but if a vintage themed place with vinyl records, gingham and jazz is your style then this can be a great place Casual and cozy! With the new owner, they now have a completely vegetarian menu, with vegan options that can be customized if you explain them to eliminate all things with dairy (esp cheese). The Mediterranean wrap and BBQ-tofu wrap is excellent, and the Thai curry is just too good!

If you feel like going to a place to watch the sunrise or sunset and have a picnic by yourself, without the formality of any formal set-up, you're in luck. Dubai has so many amazing beaches in and around the city that you'll be spoilt for choice. You can order yourself a deliciously indulgent meal from vegan takeaway places like Bloom Vegan Kitchen and add a spark to your romance under the sky.
Where? There are several beach spots on Jumeirah road, pick anyone you like. One of my favorites is Sunset Beach. Al Mamzar Beach Park is another great option if you like quiet and great views. JBR and Kite beach are too crowded to enjoy a romantic quiet moment, but if you want to see action, then you could try these too.
There's nothing quite romantic like going for a long drive and watching the sunset. So if you are up for a drive, then head to Yas Beach. It is just an hour away from Dubai and has an immaculate beach with pristine blue water.

Fine dining in one of Dubai's oldest neighborhoods
Best for: Dinner or lunch, fine-dining; Italian & Mexican; Vegetarian but Vegan-Friendly
What’s better than a delicious vegan meal at an Italian restaurant that not only makes one of the best vegan pasta and pizzas in town but also has a beautiful romantic decor? This vegetarian restaurant is perfect for Valentine’s date night and you’d be pleased to see plenty of vegan options clearly marked on the menu. They have pizzas with vegan cheese (the Mediterranean is my favorite) and their Arabiatta pasta is simply delicious.
The only downside is, they don’t have vegan desserts, but the sumptuous meal more than makes up for it. Plus, you can easily head to Comptoir 102, not far away, for their delicious raw vegan desserts if you plan an early dinner. Don't forget to ask your host to give you complimentary vegan chocolates with the invoice.

Other Options
Dubai dining scene has become extremely vegan-friendly and not only are there more vegan restaurants opening up, almost every other restaurant either has a vegan menu or often plenty of vegan options.
Veganity is another great place, located in City Walk. When it comes to its service, there are mixed reviews and the same for food. There are some good days and then some bad days. But if you are open to trying out a new place, it's a great expansive restaurant with an all-pink decor.
Soulgreen is one of my favorites, especially for a romantic evening - watching the sun setting behind the dramatic cityscape and soaking in the best views of the stunning Dubai skyline from their expansive terrace. Located at Vida Creek Harbour, this chic eco-friendly restaurant offers a plastic-free experience and soothing interiors with hanging flora from its ceilings.
This almost plant-based restaurant from Milan has vast gluten- and a dairy-free menu loaded with colourful bowls packed with superfoods, heartier pasta dishes, vegan burgers served with crisps and dip (beany burger with avo and black beans is awesome), and indulgent guilt-free desserts. They serve the best vegan mayo in town, try it with their gluten-free bread. Why have I not put it on the main list? Well, they don't have a 100% veg kitchen. But they do keep their vegan and animal cooking equipment separate avoiding any cross-contamination.
P.S. All the above restaurants, except Wild and the Moon, can customize Jain food options in Dubai for you.
