For a long long while I shied away from the murky waters of e-shopping from international websites (aka importing stuff to India).... I've been very much like ' what if I order and the stuff never gets delivered, or worse if I end up with disgusting treks to the customs office if the parcel is stuck there ' kind of girl. However, ever since I got over the fear of buying from international websites and getting the items shipped to India (courtesy few successful experiments), I've been on a crazy online shopping fervour . It's been three months that I've made the credit card companies happier resulting in a disappointing fiscal condition and a plummeting bank balance. So the moment I spotted free international shipping offer on River Island's website (that ended last week, sob sob), which was further sweetened by a 35% discount code (courtesy Lookbook.nu), the sanity was lost and all my no-shopping commitments flew out of the window. What good a life would be if there's no challenge in it?........ That one moment when you're giddy with pleasure for finding what you've been looking for all your life. Finding terre d'Oc lipstick was this moment for me. The relationship with me and my lipstick has always been a sore one and its not me but the lipstick that has to be blamed for its chip grease reaction. I've experimented a tonnes of shades and brands (the previously novice me with not-necessarily vegetarian and the now wiser me with vegetarian brands) but no avail. So a fter ransacking beauty sections of nearly all department stores across the world (in-person or online), I finally found the best vegetarian lipstick ever from a French organic make-up and skincare brand - terre d'Oc (and yes it contains no carmine) . Wahooooo!! A reply from terre d'Oc, on the email inquiry sent to them, confirmed that they are a vegetarian and cruelty-free company - "we are not testing our

Trying to capture the weekend at Lonavala particularly Aamby Valley is quite a challenge with a picture worthy sight at every corner. Pretty wooden chalets, a lovely combination of ducks and lakes, and lush green landscapes made Aamby Valley the perfect place to take a weekend break and the beautiful weather was a cherry topping. Just could not resist getting dressed up for a few shots, so here I was wearing my new buys (the tank and shoes, you've seen here ) right before heading out for a lunch (and yes I dared to step out in those shoes despite the risk it might pour any moment. How could I not?)
