The blog has helped me take fashion risks, which I tremendously enjoy taking and get the creativity side out of me. Lots of travel and loads of shopping (alas.... not in Europe). One of those phases when time zooms right in front of you like 1000BHP Bugatti and you don't even realise what just happened. Fuzzy headed from the life changing chaos last few weeks (months?), grappling to find the right mo

Beach and landscaped garden at Leela Goa left to right - the famous St. Francis church in Old Goa and me at Baga beach Despite being to Goa so many times, this was my first visit to St. Francis church in old Goa and what a beautiful place it was to capture some pictures. Worn the same outfit here , shoes Charles and Keith, bag own design August is technically the off-peak season in Goa, that means less action and more rejuvenation. Since travelling from one part of Goa to the other can be daunting, we booked two hotels on a 4-nights vacation dividing time equally between the happening-North and the unwinding-South Goa. Review of Hilton Goa New things always get me excited, so when I heard about the new cookie in town - Hilton Goa that opened on 15 August 2012 - I immediately picked Hilton for my stay in North Goa and oh my....... was so hugely disappointed. Trying to capture the weekend at Lonavala particularly Aamby Valley is quite a challenge with a picture worthy sight at every corner. Pretty wooden chalets, a lovely combination of ducks and lakes, and lush green landscapes made Aamby Valley the perfect place to take a weekend break and the beautiful weather was a cherry topping. How could I not?)
Sun and sand........Agenda? Unplug, unwind and relax......It had been ages since I did just this. A wonderful holiday in Goa that I had with the best company ever - 'myself'. (1) and (2) Hitting the Arossim beach at 6.30 in the morning - did the world turn upside down? (3) and (4) A delicious breakfast after a long beach walk, swimming and yoga session. (5) and (6) Enjoying a stroll in the hotel and later lazing in the room reading with the lagoon view (7) and (8) A healthy sandwich that was my lunch Everyone kept asking me why am I going alone for a holiday with a look on their face 'is-she-crazy-to-go-to-a-holiday-alone-and-that-also-to-a-place-like-Goa'. The truth be told, it was planned with a few friends who ducked out later. So I was left with two choices - cancel or go nevertheless. The idea of going to Goa on my own was quite enticing but then going alone? A number of small voices were squabbling in my head .......... and bam!!
