Grandeur and Luxury: Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi

Grandeur and Luxury: Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi

My partner in crime   Welcomed by fresh fruits and orange juice in the suite  (and I did some nail art myself with my vegan nail polishes) This beach side restaurant with its breathtaking views is perfect for sunset and after hours Opulence and grandeur is synonymous with Middle East and considering Emirates Palace is the property of UAE's richest Emirate Abu Dhabi no expense was spared at making this 21st century Palace hotel. No wonder it is the most expensive hotel ever built (a whopping $3.8 billion - no kidding!) and the place is indeed pure luxury where you are treated like a royalty. The hotel was built to create the most lavish seven star experience conceivable and they for sure succeeded at it. We decided to stay at the hotel for the weekend and it was indeed an amazing experience. The service and attention to details is remarkable and the staff is super courteous. The moment you arrive you are presented with a 3-rose bouquet and som

Summer in Norway: Vegan Norway Travel

Summer in Norway: Vegan Norway Travel

View from the flight while landing in Bergen, Norway After spending a week in Norway I have fallen in love with this place - it's like heaven on earth - literally!! The sheer beauty of this country is breathtaking.  We explored Norway at our own pace in a rental car making our way through the beautiful mountains, forests and across fjords taking roads and ferries, being blown away by the most beautiful sights and places on our journey. You can easily spend months exploring this gorgeous country surrounded by most breathtaking landscapes your eyes have ever seen topped with never ending beauty. Plus it is relatively untapped by tourists making it an amazing place for a relaxing reliving holiday. After travelling to many beautiful destinations in Western and Southern Norway, taking uncharted roads, steering away from the map to take unplanned impromptu journeys, and exploring them at leisure, I created this guide to travelling Norway to help you plan your own trip!

Currently the property is managed by Taj group and they have ensured it has the perfect blend of Indian traditional architecture and a taste of royal experience while meeting the demands of a modern traveller. Ideal for : A luxury stay giving you the ultimate royal experience in a real world palace {heritage property}. Grandeur, opulence and pure luxury yet very quite and calm - describe this place the best. Where: Bhavani Singh Road in the heart of Jaipur. The Rooms : We stayed at the Suryavanshi Suite. It was a grand suite with an old world charm and a peep into colourful India with rick craftsmanship. Upholstery with prints in blue an

Pure Luxury at The Leela Palace Delhi

Pure Luxury at The Leela Palace Delhi

Luxury to me is a complete experience, every aspect has to be lavish and opulent. Whenever I plan a holiday my travels fall in either of the two categories - pure indulgence or a explorer. When it's the former it's all about staying in a great hotel and relaxing with a little bit of exploration and when it's the latter it entails living like a local, discovering the uncommon places and I don't mind staying on a budget. When I visited Delhi a while ago, we decided to stay at one of the upscale hotels in New Delhi considering the past few weeks had been crazy due to the workload, which means it was now time to indulge. Among all the luxury hotels in Delhi I somehow never got a chance to stay at The Leela Palace at Chanakyapuri, although I did visit their coffee shop when it opened. And I must say it was a great stay. Ideal for: City break when you want to feel like a royalty. What: The Leela Palace, Chanakyapuri, Delhi Where: In the midst of the city i

Quan Spa is one of Mumbai's most well known spas set on a sprawling 10,000 sq ft area inside JW Mariott Hotel Mumbai. I love my regular spa and facial regimen and this was the first time I visited Quan for a treatment. They offer everything from massages, facials to Ayurvedic and water treatments. The spa has a very impressive lobby with a water wall installation by artist Sunil Padwal, immediately giving you a feeling of calm and tranquil. The spa speaks of luxury that is one of the important factors for me when choosing a spa{it gives me an assurance of product quality and hygiene}. Service: I am a complete spa junkie. This was my first time at the Quan Spa but I was not really impressed with their serv
