When I first discovered Maje online I was completely smitten by their clothes. Almost everything was a drool worthy piece, and I wanted it all. But luck has it, I never found Maje in-person to any of my shopping trips and I didn't want to buy it online (dont know for some weird reason I myself am not yet aware of). But during my last holiday in Europe, I bumped into Maje and was super duper delighted (yes the kind of delighted that makes you jump with joy and forget everything around you). The clothes were beautiful, simple with elegant cuts. Their blouses and shirts were instant love. Unfortunately for me, almost everything was either leather or silk (my vegetarian self didn't allow me to buy either), but among all the silk I found this beautiful top which was just as easily pretty and perfect and I couldn't be happier with this buy. Perfect Spain souvenir!!

Spring is arriving and with Festival of Colours knocking the door tomorrow I just had to get some colours out of the closet. Now I've been talking, rambling and obsessing over colours since forever now. I've become kind of fascinated by how much can you play around with colours. Colours - conspicuous, multifarious, fun. From the monochromatic palettes to colour blocking to the colour overdose with prints, just let your imagination run. Here's an indulgence in colour blocking - trying shades of blue with the blazer and pants (going light to dark) wore merely to be broken by a dash of pink blouse, folded green cuffs and tan belt. Talking of shoes, the shoe obsession never seems to cease. Don't know what is it about shoes that keeps me obsessed by it (I am speaking on behalf of womanhood here, and those of you who are "unmoved by shoes", you really are the "blessed souls"). Just found this picture in my photoalbum, I bought these Kurt Geiger wedges online sometime back. When I spotted them online while browsing through KG website, I was totally moved by the colour of love and just couldn't resist buying. Yet to figure out how would I wear them to that would do justice to their beauty, but for now its mere presence is enough to keep me happy. What's your shoe story?

Style Challenge - Wearing One Skirt three ways: causal to work to party.  Wearing one piece of garment over and over again can only be masked for so long. But smart styling can definitely let you wear your favourite piece myriad times.  I bought this H&M skirt last season and while it was sitting in my wardrobe I was working on ways I could wear it. Much to my surprise (it seemed to be one of those pieces you cannot always wear out), I was happy with the way I discovered so many different ways and occasions I could wear this skirt for. Here's how I did it three times. I am not one to experiment with my nails too much. Most of the times I go bared nails and even when I do put on some colour it is either a French manicure or classic red or fuchsia. To break this monotony I decided to try something completely different yet simple with my nails this weekend. So I headed out for a manicure (my poor hands badly needed some pampering after the torture I put them all through January and Feb). I couldn't be more happier with the results - I came out with butter soft hands and perfect glam nails - deep plum with gold glitter. After wearing this colour, I've received tonnes of glares and compliments on my nails, so I thought of breaking down the steps on how to get these sparkling nails yourself. Its easy peasy: 1. Apply the top coat on your nails. I used OPI Nail Strengthener. 2. Watching over Spanish Steps from the rooftop of the hotel, looking for a veg pizza joint all over Rome (with no success.. tsk tsk), sipping on the delicious Cappucino, clicking thousands of pictures and trying to find some time to shop among all these. And completely DELIGHTED at finding this dress from Parisian brand Sandro (finally!! I managed to find Sandro after years of coveting over it while somehow consoling myself with online browsing their amazing clothes and finally owning it in my wardrobe :)) in last 10 min of store closing at El Corte Ingles in Barcelona (must visit) before heading off to Rome.
