Rains and clouds drive back home.
Trying to capture the weekend at Lonavala particularly Aamby Valley is quite a challenge with a picture worthy sight at every corner. Pretty wooden chalets, a lovely combination of ducks and lakes, and lush green landscapes made Aamby Valley the perfect place to take a weekend break and the beautiful weather was a cherry topping.
Just could not resist getting dressed up for a few shots, so here I was wearing my new buys (the tank and shoes, you've seen here) right before heading out for a lunch (and yes I dared to step out in those shoes despite the risk it might pour any moment. How could I not?)
Seems like a great place!

Beautiful images, though didn't understand the connection between those shoes and the valley!
ReplyDeleteLol. Yah I can understand your confusion. Those shoes and valley had no connection, but the shoes were fairly new and unworn, and the place was so lovely that really wanted to wear them and get pictures of those beautiful shoes in a beautiful place.

ReplyDeleteS J,
ReplyDeleteYou take me down the memory lane by many many years. Lonavala has own charm. Mangola and Bonda was a must at railway station while passing through.
Take care
Nostalgic? I've been to Lonavala just once and this was the second time. But certainly was a pretty place in this weather.
Deletelike the clean silhouette!!
ReplyDeleteand the rains ans clouds are just what my city needs!!!

Thanks everyone for your messages.
ReplyDelete@Ayantika - Ure wow shows that ure a monsoon lover.
It sure was a wonderful place and awesome weather. Must visit once, although I was a little disappointed by Sahara service. They have built a great property but lag way behind in the service quality department. They charge luxury but service quality is no way close to other luxury chains like Four Seasons, Taj or even Marriott.
This sure looks like a calm place to relax on the weekend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots!...I loved the cheeta skin pattern on your high heels..:)
ReplyDeleteLove your style statement and panache! :) Thank you the lovely, dreamy pictures.
