About Me

My photo
Style Destino is my personal style space bout cruelty-free and vegetarian style. Fashion is not above someone's life and it is irresponsible when someone makes a fashion choice that involves taking a poor animal's life. I believe in style that has a conscience. We are in 21st century where technology has advanced immensely, there are myriad options available and any person with a desire can make things happen. So it is sheer selfishness and irresponsible behaviour when people make unethical fashion choices. Through StyleDestino I share everything cruelty-free and ethical in my style. I do not use any handbags, shoes or accessories made from leather (animal skin), the make-up I use is also vegetarian and cruelty free. Luxury and compassion can coexist stylishly and Style Destino is an attempt to prove just that. Vegan fashion is not about dowdy clothes, cheap bags, or tawdry shoes. I can just easily be vegan and trot in my Olsen heels, sporting a Stella McCartney luxurious vegan handbag while showing off my red lips painted with OCC lip tar!! I travel the world around and never find dearth of stylish, high quality vegetarian fashion.

A Royal Stay: The Rambagh Palace Jaipur

A Royal Stay: The Rambagh Palace Jaipur

( Image source: Taj Hotel ) (Image Source: KiwiCollection) (Image source: Taj Hotel) Among all the royal hotels in Jaipur , Rambagh Palace Hotel is undoubtedly the best place to stay. It dips you into pure luxury exuding Rajasthani royalty; after all it is the former residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur himself. Currently the property is managed by Taj group and they have ensured it has the perfect blend of Indian traditional architecture and a taste of royal experience while meeting the demands of a modern traveller. Ideal for : A luxury stay giving you the ultimate royal experience in a real world palace {heritage property}. Grandeur, opulence and pure luxury yet very quite and calm - describe this place the best. Where: Bhavani Singh Road in the heart of Jaipur. The Rooms : We stayed at the Suryavanshi Suite. It was a grand suite with an old world charm and a peep into colourful India with rick craftsmanship. Upholstery with prints in blue an

Ugly Chic: New In

Ugly Chic: New In

After years of discomfort with the flat shoes, I finally gave in to my fear of wearing flats. Oh Ugly! Not kidding, the ugly shoe fever caught me and last week when I spotted this pair at the Charles and Keith store I couldn't resist buying them. It was more like summer bit me and the citrus hue was pleading - PLS BUY ME! The best thing I like about Charles and Keith brand is not only do they have stylish shoes and bags, but they are also vegan friendly. Most of their products are leather free, which is a big relief in this {in-compassionate} world of fashion. What's that one thing you're scared of wearing?

Pure Luxury at The Leela Palace Delhi

Pure Luxury at The Leela Palace Delhi

Luxury to me is a complete experience, every aspect has to be lavish and opulent. Whenever I plan a holiday my travels fall in either of the two categories - pure indulgence or a explorer. When it's the former it's all about staying in a great hotel and relaxing with a little bit of exploration and when it's the latter it entails living like a local, discovering the uncommon places and I don't mind staying on a budget. When I visited Delhi a while ago, we decided to stay at one of the upscale hotels in New Delhi considering the past few weeks had been crazy due to the workload, which means it was now time to indulge. Among all the luxury hotels in Delhi I somehow never got a chance to stay at The Leela Palace at Chanakyapuri, although I did visit their coffee shop when it opened. And I must say it was a great stay. Ideal for: City break when you want to feel like a royalty. What: The Leela Palace, Chanakyapuri, Delhi Where: In the midst of the city i

Stella McCartney Falabella Bag Review: Suitable For Vegetarians

Stella McCartney Falabella Bag Review: Suitable For Vegetarians

Months, its been literally months that I had my eyes on this gorgeous colour from Stella Falabella collection. Its no news that I am obsessed with Stella McCartney bags {with bags that look like these and come with a tag "Suitable for Vegetarians", who wouldn't?}. I was over the moon when I received this as a present delivered from Barcelona. What I love the most about this bag is that despite its size, it can stock in a lot of stuff and the colour makes it so versatile. It looks great with a dress, denims, shorts, an all black outfit, a monochrome outfit and even with a pop of colour. However, like my other Stella McCartney bag, the chain of this bag digs on your shoulder too and you can see the marks on your skin after you wear it. Plus, this bag is also very slouchy, so when you hang it - it loses its shape and looks weird. I think the slouchy Falabella overall is not a good style from Stella - no matter how great it looks. In fact, my other Stella McCar
