(Spotted a peacock when visiting Hot Pink Store in Jaipur) Stella McCartney Bag, Cotton On skirt, Topshop Tee, Miu Miu Sunglasses Jaipur is one of the most beautiful cities bustling with history and art. I've been to Jaipur myriad times and have stayed in some of the best hotels of the city including the Rambagh Palace and ITC Rajputana, Sheraton but never got a chance to stay at the Fairmont Hotel since it is in the outskirts of the city. During my last visit to Jaipur we finally decided to stay at the Fairmont considering we were looking to relax and enjoy with no shopping or meetings planned!! And must I tell you, the hotel was an absolute delight whether it was the interiors, opulence, service or food {I only managed to have breakfast}. Here's a review of Fairmont Jaipur: Ideal for: Romantic getaway, pampering, opulent luxury, perfect for whenever you need some time off for yourself What: The Fairmont Hotel, Jaipu
I just realised I really hadn't done the much deserved post on this little gem I discovered on one of my (not so recent) trips to Singapore. While you definitely need some high street brands to get your fashion dose, the wardrobe isn't really complete without some amazing designers and stand out styles; which is the reason I always make it a point to get out of the malls and find local designers or stores that have bespoke designers or stock from relatively unknown or not so ubiquitous talented designers and upcoming labels. nana & bird is a charming well hidden quaint fashion and accessories store in Singapore that stocks well curated designs of independent emerging designers and labels from around the world. The brand was initially launched as a pop-up store {in Shanghai and Singapore} that eventually graduated to a multi-designer store retaining its charm and well-curated selection. I visited nana and bird on my last day in Singapore, as
Every year has its ups and downs, but 2014 brings in the memories of amazing moments, great learnings and fresh beginnings. It was a year that I learnt to become stronger but not without being empathetic, it was a year that reminded me that every person has a positive side and thats where our focus should be else no relationship can flourish, it was a year that's still teaching me to forgive and forget. 2014 was a year of many new beginnings and the year where I took extra steps to become a better me. I am sure 2015 is going to be another wonderful year for you and me!! Here's a collage from my Instagram moments from 2014 and the recent indulgence from 2015. Follow me on instagram: @beautifyflr

I've stayed in a couple of heritage properties in Rajasthan and loved those beautiful hotels with their excellent service. A piece of pure luxury, each of those hotels were amazing - the royal themed decor, beautiful hand carved furniture with accents of gold and a nice blend of old and new. So when I got a chance to visit the Ahilya Fort Hotel in Maheshwar, I was quite excited. Tucked on the bank of Narmada river, perched up on a hill and overlooking the famous Ghats of Maheshwar, the Ahilya Fort Hotel was quite intriguing from the outside. With only 13 rooms, this 18th century fort hotel is quite a hush hush place, and is only accessible to the hotel guests aka not open for visitors. The moment we entered the fort hotel, we were transported to a completely different era. Whitewashed walls, cobbled floors, a open courtyard in the center, the foyer walls clad with pictures of royalty, tranquil inner courtyards with plantations everywhere - all in all an enchanting place main
Dress Asos, Shoes Zara, Bag DvF Tonda Clutch, Bracelet Hermès Neonish green with explosion of grey florals, this dress was an online shopping risque. While neon is not really my thing, although I always appreciate someone else wearing the colour, but I was completely sold at the cut-out back and silhouette and sunk in {thankfully}. The blue accessories make perfect companion to all that's going green. Fresh and exuberant colours smell like spring but the grey florals and full sleeves makes this dress a perfect transitional piece to Fall. Not that the winter chill has begun, in fact although we are nearly half way through October, which is officially Fall, but Mumbai weather makes it feel its still summer. But I am not complaining!! It's not often you'll find me doing food posts, and especially the DIY recipes {I have little aversion towards cooking, months and sometimes years pass by when I actually cook something other than water}. But every now and then I try to share my vegan and vegetarian experiments that my very dear cook helps me put together. One of my recent experiments was Apple and Pear Green Vegan Smoothie, that turned out surprisingly delicious. Apple Pear Green Smoothie - sounds so chic and healthy!! The colour was so tastefully green, not one of those green smoothies that scare you off. While this smoothie is perfect for the summer, served chilled, it also makes a great energy booster in the winter; when you want to start your day with a coffee but you'd rather have something that starts off the day delectably and keeps you refreshed all day to fight off that winter chill (and now I am almost sounding like a TV commercial -- STOP THAT!). When I saw this smoothie it immediately r
