In the health department, berries have a fabulous reputation. They are full of antioxidants, high in fiber, loaded with Vitamin C and are also good for your heart and bone. Plus these summer fruits taste delicious adding a nice flavour and taste to your recipes. While I love adding berries to almost all my smoothies, I particularly prefer a Berry Smoothie after a workout as it's very filling and super nutritious, complementing my workout regime. This Berry and Avocado Smoothie is my favourite - it is very rich, creamy, sweet and refreshing. Blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and avocados are the key ingredients in this post-workout breakfast smoothie. Although with my sweet tooth, I will equally comfortably leap off a plane in London and head to Govindas for their heavenly delectable vegan cakes I miss back here in Mumbai. Now who doesn't know the importance of a good breakfast? From a no breakfast person I have gradually graduated to one of those people who need pretty substantial meal right in the morning to keep me up and steady. With my newly acquired love for smoothies {its been a year and a half} I have been experimenting with several concoctions to keep my breakfast filling and palatable. And trust me a glass of smoothie can really keep your food cravings at bay if you start to get hungry early on. Mango and Avocado Smoothie is one of my favourites in summers. I prefer using fresh ingredients and completely avoid frozen fruits considering there are so
